Last Blog of 2010

Well it has finally arrived, 2010 is at a close and 2011 is about to begin. Looking back I can say that 2010 started out on a downer, picked up and ended with a slump. I somehow became depressed on the happiest day of the year, I usually love Christmas.

Lets forget the past and look towards 2011 with optimism. I usually love Christmas but I love the feeling of a fresh start even better and tomorrow signals exactly that. I usually like to start by listing what I want to achieve by this time next year. I have already listed the following:

  1. Finish Church Websites
  2. Finish My Website (www.robsroost.me.uk)
  3. Learn to Drive

On top of these i would like to add the following:

  1. Figure out what it is exactly I want to do with my life.
  2. Loose weight
  3. Learn ASP.Net 4.0
  4. Learn iPhone programming
  5. Launch my First App
  6. Start Cooking for family

I am going to do this by applying the following resolutions:

  1. Think more positive
  2. Take a long walk at least once a week
  3. Eat more healthily
  4. Be Better with Money
  5. Read More.

I hope that by taking along walk once a week may allow me to clear my head for a few hours a week. I also hope to take pictures for my Flikr account and blogs, it will hopefully give me something to blog about. It will also help with Loosing weight combined with eating more healthily. I hope to be able to keep you up-to-date on my progress.

I am taking January off from any web work to help relax me and help get my mind on the prize of finishing both websites.

So that’s the plan, I am looking at 2011 with optimism.

“An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.”
