Half Time Whistle

I meant to write this a week ago and so it really should be more than half time whistle.

This is my half year review blog I wrote one a quarter of through just to update everyone on how the year was going. I mentioned then that my deadline of getting the new version of rob’s roost finished by 1st January was creeping ever closer, this hasn’t changed and since I haven’t worked on it for 3 months seems like it will never happen. As long as I can get the main website up for this time I will be happy. My other web work has gone slow as well, the church website in particular has come to a stand still. Really must get cracking on it.

I still haven’t had a downer for a months. I am astounded how life has turned around for me all of a sudden. This year has been one of the best. Okay I still do not have a job but my time seems less wasted than it used to be, this could be because a lot of my time is taken up with stuff for the church.

As my last post says I bought a MacBook Pro. Something I never thought I would ever do, but so glad I have. Not much to report on that subject except i’m loving the experience.

I have learnt recently that no matter how much you can go out of the way to help someone, that someone will never show you appreciation. This happened a few weeks ago at church I went out of my way to help with something and the help was unappreciated. This ended up with me walking out on being apart of a child lead service.

So overall the year is turning out to be great. Saying that will however mean that the next 6 months are going to go terribly wrong so better find some wood to touch.
