Reflection:
Jesus’ time in the wilderness is a powerful reminder of the temptations we face daily. The devil’s temptations were designed to divert Jesus from His mission, but He remained steadfast, using the Word of God to resist. His victory over temptation in the wilderness shows us that even in the most challenging circumstances, we can rely on God’s Word to remain faithful.
Lent is an opportunity to examine our temptations and how we respond to them. Like Jesus, we are called to stand firm in our faith and trust in God’s provision.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to stand firm when we face temptation. Strengthen us with Your Word and guide us on the path of righteousness. Amen.
