Jesus came to pay off the biggest debt of all. The debt owed to God through man’s sinful ways. Does this mean we should keep sinning?
Think of this scenario. You fall down a well and some one helps you get out. Would you jump back in so they can help you get out again?
Of course you don’t.
In the same way you would not pay off a debt just to take the loan out again.
Our debt with God is paid. But we should still strive to be sinless. Like a debtless life a sinless life is a lot less stressful.
