“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Reflection:
On Palm Sunday, the crowds hailed Jesus as their King, laying down palm branches and declaring Him the Messiah. Yet, their understanding of His kingship was incomplete. They expected a political savior, but Jesus came to establish a kingdom of peace and love through His sacrificial death on the cross.
As we begin Holy Week, we are called to reflect on our expectations of Jesus. Do we see Him as the King who reigns through humility and service? Are we ready to follow Him to the cross?
Prayer:
Hosanna, King Jesus! We welcome You into our lives today. Help us to understand Your kingdom and follow You through every step of Your journey. Amen.
